Ready to meet demand for automotive filters<\/h2>\n

We\u2019ve made space on the manufacturing floor this month for two new hi-tech arrivals.<\/p>\n

Cue drum roll and a BEC welcome for the BOY<\/strong><\/a> 55 tonne and 25 tonne vertical moulding machines,<\/strong>\u00a0once again upping our range and the options available for customers.<\/p>\n

\"BEC_BOYMouldingMachine\"<\/p>\n

This latest investment in high-performance, precision injection moulding machines means you get the winning combination of BOY\u2019s modern machinery with BEC\u2019s ability to manufacture technical mouldings.<\/p>\n

With both vertical moulding machines added to our plant list, we\u2019ll have more capacity, flexibility and options for the guys and girls in our in-house mould shops to work with.<\/p>\n

The 2 new machines bring increased production capacity so we\u2019re more than able to meet the surge in demand for the specialist filters<\/a> we produce for the automotive industry. Many of which we\u2019re proud to say are instrumental in helping reduce diesel emissions, ensuring fuel systems in a wide range of vehicles – from trucks to the super-luxe – run more efficiently.<\/p>\n

While we\u2019re on the subject of vehicles, we\u2019ve also installed a \u2026<\/h2>\n

\"\"Convenient Electric Vehicle Charging Point<\/strong>.\u00a0 For added convenience and with an eye on the future, our new EV charging unit is fully operational and ready for visitors to charge their vehicles for free. (We can\u2019t wait to welcome you back in person, it\u2019s been too long!)<\/p>\n

Upgrading Tech<\/h2>\n

Part of our recent investment programme includes the upgrade of our IT system: with the latest Sage system, plus increased efficiency and security for processing data.\u00a0 It\u2019s just as important to us as it is to our customers that we have the highest level of data security in place when it comes to handling customer data, CAD files and drawings.<\/p>\n

A surprise welcome for the team<\/h2>\n

With everyone slightly displaced over the last year, we wanted to do something nice for the team.\u00a0 We all need a break now and again, so towards the end of last year we started work removing the old BEC team kitchen and installing a lovely shiny new one, so the team have a nice space to relax in, recharge and catch up, ready to tackle the next challenge!<\/p>\n

As part of our Continuous Improvement Programme, we\u2019ve always got investment on the cards, so we\u2019ll let you know what else is new in the coming months.<\/p>\n
