Our Client:<\/b>  <\/span>FlareBrands designs innovative travel safety products for travellers to keep them safe whilst adventuring.  One such product is FlareSafe, a personal multi-purpose safety device designed to save lives.<\/p>\n

Our Mission:<\/strong>  To collaborate with their design agency, Curventa, to develop the concept for FlareSafe, a portable, hand-held sized LED torch with half power function for extended battery life, a flashing mode for signalling, a 110db personal alarm with two settings, incorporating military-grade, water-resistant plastic casing and removable lanyard.<\/p>\n

BEC Solution:<\/strong>  Our technical expertise enabled us to carry out several cost-down iterations in order to achieve the price points set by the customer without losing any of the key functionality, whilst our in-house tool design team brought the original CAD drawings to life. Using CAM software, pinpoint accuracy and technical capability our tool room manufactured the complex mould tool with 17 separate components, no modifications required.<\/p>\n

Result:<\/strong>  A production-ready injection mould tool which we used to produce samples, so FlareBrands could test FlareSafe prior to final production. FlareSafe was launched in 2006 and has enjoyed extensive sales and media coverage worldwide.<\/p>\n
